1. What happens in S.A.F.E. stays in S.A.F.E. (discussions, nominations, polls etc.)

2. S.A.F.E. members are not allowed to comment on price or fairness of a trade or sale.

3. S.A.F.E. members are not allowed to middle PayPal transactions.

4. S.A.F.E. Forum is for S.A.F.E. business only.

5. The list has a cap of 50 names. If/when list reaches 50 names, there will be a hold on new member nominations.

6. New member process

· Besides being trustworthy, the individual must be inworld for 6 months or more and must be at least 18 years of age.

· A S.A.F.E. member must nominate the person for the list (asking to be nominated is allowable).

· No alts allowed. Only main avatars may be voted into S.A.F.E. (this also applies to the S.A.F.E. forum).

· There must be a second nomination for consideration.

· There will be a two-week discussion period after nomination.

· After the two-week discussion period, a poll will be put in place for a week.

· Nominee must receive at least a 51% yes vote in order to be added to the list.

7. In order to remove a member for dishonesty or for any other reason, a 66% vote must be reached. The poll will be placed after a two-week discussion period on the individual.

8. LOA

· If on LOA, your name will remain on the list with an LOA placed after your name.

· Time limit on LOA is 3 months.

· Time limit of LOA will be extended if communication is received. If no communication, name will be removed from list.

9. Vote must be at least 75% to change or pass any new S.A.F.E. policy.

10. There is a waiting period of 90 days for voting again on same issues.

11. *For staff positions, anyone can nominate (including themselves). No second nomination is required. There will be a one-week discussion period and chance for others to nominate others for the role(s). After which time a poll will be placed for one week in the event of more than one person nominated. If only one person nominated for a new position, they win by default.



* Staff positions do not entitle a person to seniority on any matter. Staff positions are required in order for things to be run in a smooth and efficient manner. Governance of S.A.F.E. was devised to allow it to run pretty much on its own without anyone formally “in charge”, but with enough member participation to bring in new members as people leave and manage the web site and forum. Everything is done by vote, each members has one vote of equal weight, so every member of S.A.F.E. is part of being “in charge”. S.A.F.E. has no plans to reform as a "club", we have seen that model fail every time attempted inworld, clubs just don't last. S.A.F.E. is a run by majority votes of it’s members.
